Junior Boys Volleyball Zone Tournament Information

Junior Boys Volleyball Zone Tournament 

1. All teams welcome from the NCDSAA 

2. Berths – 2 or 3 Zone Berths for Invitational Provincials 

3. Ranking determined by - Most recent head to head matches 

                                        - Most recent Tournament play 

    4. Tournament format - Depends on # of team = 1 pool or 2 pools 

                                                      (a) Round Robin (best of 3) 

(b) All teams advance to a single elimination draw with consolation placement matches 

    5. Awards:    Medals for Gold, Silver, Bronze 

                              Optional – Trophy/Plaque for team placement 1st, 2nd, 3rd 

  6 First Team All-stars (2 from 1st place team, 2 from 2nd place team, 1 from 3rd place team, 1 4th place team) 

                              1 Most Outstanding Player (from 1st place team) 

                               1 Defensive or Libero Award (from 1st or 2nd place team) 

       6. Entry Fee : approx. $250.00 (depends on $$ spent on awards and # teams = # matches)  Should read: based on costs split between all teams

        7. Coaches’ meeting: decide host and date for following year
